Find high-quality, affordable health insurance now!
Show Me Coverage is here to help you get health insurance you can afford through the Health Insurance Marketplace or Medicaid.
What is Show Me Coverage?
Show Me Coverage is a project of the Missouri Primary Care Association (MPCA) to help Missourians enroll in affordable health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicaid. It includes 20 organizations that provide free in-person help so people understand their coverage options and can successfully get, keep and use their health insurance.
Attention MoHealthNet and SNAP participants!
Look for the yellow envelope! Starting in January 2026, the Family Support Division will be mailing Annual Renewal forms and SNAP Mid-Certification Review forms in yellow envelopes. Make sure to complete and sign the forms inside and return them to FSD.
What’s happening with ACA subsidies?
- Enhanced premium tax credits (expanded under ARPA/IRA) are set to expire December 31, 2025
- In 2026, many families could face higher premiums and reduced subsidies.
- Millions may lose affordability- or coverage entirely.
If this affects you, please contact showmecoverage.org or call us at 417 840 6788 to connect with a trained Navigator or CAC for free for assistance. We can assist with getting your policy cancelled with the ACA, discuss other enrollment options and we can also connect you with a local Federally Qualified Health Center for care.

New coverage option: Medicaid Expansion
Thanks to a new Missouri law, more low-income Missourians can now get covered through Medicaid. For example, if you are a single adult making less than $1,883 a month, or a parent in a family of three making less than $3,228 a month, you might be able to get free Medicaid health insurance. If you’ve tried to get health insurance before and it was too expensive, now is a great time to try again. You can apply for Medicaid year-round.

Health Insurance Marketplace
The Health Insurance Marketplace is a website where you can find high-quality health insurance plans if you don’t get insurance through a job. These plans are required to cover the care you need. Even better: Most people get discounts to help them afford the plans.
Open Enrollment for 2026 plans will begin November 1, 2025. However, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
